Equestrian arena in Kalkuni Parish

Horseback riding allows you to enjoy the splendor of nature in different seasons. On horseback you can enjoy a completely different view of your surroundings and regain inner peace. The horse riding arena in Kalkunes Parish offers family holidays, riding lessons, horse camps and equestrian events, and picnic facilities. Photo shoots and individual horse riding are also possible.

Music Square in Esplanade Rest Park

Music Square in Esplanade Rest Park is a place for rest and walks in Daugavpils. The central theme of the new recreation and walking area is the sounds of music in an urban environment. There are various music instrument in the open air which allow to both hear and feel the music in its various forms. There are 10 different outdoor musical instruments – drums, xylophone, tube bells and other interesting objects.

Slutiski ravine trail

An interesting walking route is located in the very picturesque territory of the nature park “Daugavas loki”. The Slutiski ravine trail connects Slutiski scarp and Slutiski courtyard.

Recreation place near the Gaišezers lake

Not far from the city, in a wooded area near the Gaišezers lake, there is a well-equipped recreation area with a swimming place, several gazebos, benches and tables, and a fire place.

Jaunsvente park was built in the end of 19th century. Park’s area is 5.22 hectares and there are 27 different species of trees.

In the territory of Medumi village, on the shore of Medumi lake, there is a well-equipped recreation place and beach – here you can go fishing and relax by the lake.
