In the information center of the Dviete floodplain “Gulbji” the exposition of the symbol of Bebrene and an inhabitant of the Dviete floodplain has been created. It introduces the Eurasian beaver, its history and lifestyle, habits, bad and good deeds. Variants of how to live with a beaver and use it effectively are suggested.
The exposition offers:
- learn many facts about the life of beavers;
- see and touch beaver fur, teeth and gnawed trees;
- watch a film about the life of beavers;
- learn about the healing properties of beaver glands;
- taste an infusion of beaver glands;
- go on an expedition of places, where beavers live and, if you are lucky, see a beaver with your own eyes;
- buy souvenirs with a symbol of beaver;
- taste meat products from beaver (by ordering in advance).
