Six Exhibitions and the International Martinsons Award: Rothko Museum Announces Ambitious Autumn Lineup
The Rothko Museum’s autumn season runs from 5 September to 23 November 2025. Two exhibitions – “Martinsons Award 2025” and “Matchstick in the Sand” by Milena Pirštelienė – will extend into the winter season and conclude on 1 February 2026.
Car Show in the courtyard of the Centre of Technics and Industrial Design «Engineering arsenal»
On June 1, on the last day of the City Festival in Daugavpils, a car show hosted by the “Rolling Team” community will take place in the courtyard of the Centre of Technics and Industrial Design «Engineering Arsenal». Many cars of different categories from Latvia and Lithuania will take part in the show.

Rothko Museum Hosts the 13th Instalment of its International Printmaking Symposium
From 10 to 22 March, Daugavpils will welcome graphic artists from nine countries for the 13th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium – a vibrant creative forum for professional printmakers that will result in an exhibition at the Rothko Museum.

Daugavpils city has already started intensive work on the city’s celebration programme, which highlights not only the city’s significant anniversary, but also the 85th anniversary of the first Latgale Song Festival at the Stropu Stage.
Against the Wind and Up into the Light: Rotko Museum announces Winter Exhibition Season
At 4 p.m. on Friday, 29 November, the Rothko Museum will launch its winter season, closing the year with six profoundly moving exhibitions.
„Halloween Horror Park” – the grand show is coming to Daugavpils!
From 12 October to 3 November, Daugavpils Central Park will become the mysterious „Horror Park”, which promises to be the most ambitious and spectacular event of this autumn. Every evening from 3 pm to 10 pm, the park will open its doors to all those who are willing to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of mysticism and fear.
