THE COMPLEX INCLUDES:
- an athletics stadium with 300 spectator seats, an equipped commentator’s building;
- athletics sectors with all necessary equipment (long jump, high jump, discus throw, javelin throw, shot put);
- football field, volleyball, basketball, tennis fields;
- showers and changing rooms;
- tent area, service hotel;
- stage with 1000 audience seats, well-equipped preparation rooms for artists, communications;
- Lukna lake sandy beach and boat station (rental of boats, catamarans, water bikes, SUP boards), sauna;
- parking lot.
The Viskis athletics stadium has been created in accordance with the requirements of the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) standards, which makes it possible to organize high-level athletics competitions. The new sprayable synthetic polyurethane covering for running tracks and athletics sectors also meets IAAF certification standards.
ARRIVAL
The complex is located on the shore of Lake Lukna in Viški parish, Augšdaugava district.
Access is via an asphalted road ~2km from the A13 highway (Rēzekne – Daugavpils), 30 km from Daugavpils.
ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD SERVICES:
- tent sites next to the stadium, service hotelrecreation base “Virogna” (~5km away) offers ~150 places;
- ~60-70 places in guest houses within a 5 km radius;
- meals are offered by the canteen of the Viški Technical School, outside meals are also provided by other guesthouses in the Augšdaugava region.
