Daugavpils Theatre is the only professional Latvian theatre in Latgale. Currently, the theatre is placed at the heart of Daugavpils city in the Unity House (designed by architect Verners Vitands), built in 1937. The repertoire of Daugavpils Theatre includes performances in Latvian, Russian, and Latgalian languages.
The theatre’s repertoire offers various genres of performances, including melodramas, comedies, dance shows, musical-dramatic performances, performances for children, and more.
