This year, Latvia’s second largest city – Daugavpils – celebrates its 749th anniversary. To celebrate this event and to offer a varied programme of festivities to the citizens and visitors of Daugavpils, the Daugavpils State Municipality has started work on the development of the City Festival programme.
The main events of the Daugavpils City Festival will take place from 31 May to 2 June. As usual, residents and visitors will enjoy a varied programme of festivities with concerts by different artists, as well as performances by local collectives and artists. The Family Park will invite young visitors to enjoy unforgettable adventures and thrilling attractions. Outdoor cafés and the Festive Market on Rigas Street will delight you with special tastes. Sports enthusiasts will be able to watch athletes in action and take part in various activities.
