Music Square in Esplanade Rest Park

Music Square in Esplanade Rest Park is a place for rest and walks in Daugavpils. The central theme of the new recreation and walking area is the sounds of music in an urban environment. There are various music instrument in the open air which allow to both hear and feel the music in its various forms. There are 10 different outdoor musical instruments – drums, xylophone, tube bells and other interesting objects.

Exhibition of Retro Cars “RetroGaraž-D”

Different automobile brands are represented in the exhibition – 22 “Moskvich”, 2 “Zhiguli”, “Volga” and “Mercedes” cars. This is probably the largest “Moskvich” collection in the Baltic States.

“Lorem” Guest House is situated in Daugavpils, just 6 km from the historical centre of Daugavpils city, as well as 5 km from Daugavpils Fortress and Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre. It is a two-storey house with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, summer kitchen, dining room and two toilets, one of which is combined with a shower. Guests can use a balcony and a terrace.

There is a 3km long pedestrian pathway on the shore of Lielais Stropu Lake. The promenade connects the Central Beach and the “Stropu vilnis” Beach. It is a great place to go for a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and spend time actively.
