Game Description
People say that Daugavpils, much like Mark Rothko’s color palette, has many shades. During this orienteering game, participants have the chance to experience the city’s diversity — discovering not only its well‑known landmarks but also its hidden gems and unexpected artworks.
One of the stops on the route is the so‑called “student area”, where your attention may be drawn to the figure of Pavel Dubrovin with his four‑legged companion, the residents of the Latgale Zoo, or the exhibition visible through the window of the Shmakovka Museum. The game challenges not only your navigation skills in an urban environment but also your knowledge of various historical and cultural facts.
To ensure an engaging and unpredictable experience, the route includes both permanent objects and those that may change over time. This means that some items mentioned in the tasks may have disappeared, been replaced, demolished, repainted, or damaged. Weather conditions — rain, snow, or fog — may also affect access to or visibility of certain locations.

What is Roadgames?
Roadgames is an interactive team‑based orienteering and adventure game played in the real world through a mobile app. It combines city exploration with educational and creative challenges, allowing players to discover new places while moving on foot, by car, or by bike.
The games are designed for friends, families, and corporate team‑building. Participants download the app, create a team, and navigate the map while collecting points for completing tasks.
How to participate?
To join the game, you need to download the Roadgames app. Once the game begins, the map and tasks become available in the app. Participants must travel to the marked locations to complete on‑site challenges, as well as take part in additional tasks that are not tied to a specific spot.
The goal of the game is to earn as many points as possible by strategically choosing tasks and competing against other teams.
