The International Living History Festival “Dinaburga 1812” will be held in Daugavpils Fortress on July 11th.
The festival is dedicated to the events of the early 19th century at the walls of the unfinished Daugavpils Fortress, when it was attacked by the army of French Emperor Napoleon under the command of Marshal Nicolas Oudinot.
During the event, historical reconstruction clubs will demonstrate their military skills, historical costumes and weapon replicas, as well as the daily life of the garrison.

The festival is organised by the Daugavpils City Municipality and the Daugavpils City Municipal Institution, “Daugavpils Fortress and Museum Administration”.
