The Art Centre "Arka" calendar of events
The “ARKA” Art Centre hosts performances by the Daugavpils Puppet Theatre, as well as lectures on literature and art for children and adults, musical evenings, and concerts. The centre also offers group and individual training sessions, exhibitions, painting masterclasses, and other cultural events.
Spring Exhibition Season in Rothko Museum
The Rothko Museum’s spring season runs from 7 March to 18 May 2025. Two exhibitions – “Selection: Latvian Graphics in the Rothko Museum Collection” and “Constructive Dialogue” by Šmidkena and Lukšo – will close a week earlier, on 11 May.
FLEA MARKET IN DAUGAVPILS FORTRESS
On April 19 from 10.00 to 14.00, a traditional flea market will take place in Daugavpils Fortress, near to the Daugavpils Fortress Visitors Centre (Nikolaja iela 5).
Rigas street fair
On 19 april, from 10 am to 4 pm, a fair on Rigas Street will take place in Daugavpils. Visitors will be able to buy products from local producers and craftsmen, and other interesting things.
