The Art Centre "Arka" calendar of events
The “ARKA” Art Centre hosts performances by the Daugavpils Puppet Theatre, as well as lectures on literature and art for children and adults, musical evenings, and concerts. The centre also offers group and individual training sessions, exhibitions, painting masterclasses, and other cultural events.
Winter exhibition season at the Rothko Museum
From 29 November 2024 to 23 February 2025, the Rothko Museum will host the Winter Exhibition Season.
Lighting of the first candle of the Advent wreath in Daugavpils
Daugavpils continues the tradition of creating a large Advent wreath at the crossroad of Rīgas and Cietokšņa Streets. The first candle will be lit in the city’s large Advent wreath on the eve of Advent, on 30 November.
