The Art Centre "Arka" calendar of events
The “ARKA” Art Centre hosts performances by the Daugavpils Puppet Theatre, as well as lectures on literature and art for children and adults, musical evenings, and concerts. The centre also offers group and individual training sessions, exhibitions, painting masterclasses, and other cultural events.
RIGAS STREET FAIR
During the Daugavpils City Festival, from 31 May to 2 June, Daugavpils residents and visitors will be spoilt with homemade goods and handicraft products, as well as other beautiful and useful items at the fair on Riga Street.
FLEA MARKET IN DAUGAVPILS FORTRESS
On Sunday, June 2, from 10.00 to 14.00, a traditional flea market will take place in Daugavpils fortress, near to the Daugavpils Fortress Visitors Centre (Nikolaja ielā 5).
The solemn opening ceremony of the Nicholas Gate
On June 2 at 11.30 am the solemn opening ceremony of the Nicholas Gate of the Daugavpils Fortress will take place, which is organized by The Daugavpils Living History Society.
